When I travelled through Brazil a few years ago (all over but didn't make time for the Amazon), I had lots of acai juice and smoothies but they were always sweetened already. I had no idea that was from sugar! It's still my favorite juice. Especially the Naked Juice made of Acai and Pomegranate--only problem is that it sells for a million dollars in stores like Whole Foods here. I missed that article in NYT about acai.
